The son invited three friends. One of them showed up the day before "to help prep." He does not cook. He has never cooked. He watched YouTube tutorials on how to peel sweet potatoes at 11pm the night prior. His dedication is truly something. He's now been added to the family Thanksgiving text chain for next year. His own family's Thanksgiving is two states away. He has not mentioned this conflict to anyone. He will figure it out.
